in the past i have slammed the americans, mainly their government, and they have given myself and the rest of the world reason to slam them again. this is to do with the kyoto treaty which i do not much about, and i dont pretend to, but i do know this: 1. the usa broke the treaty to make a nuclear defense system 2. this system will effect global warming not only did the americans break a treaty agreed on by several leading countries but they are now going to assist even further in destroying the earths atmosphere. a lot of the small island and even countries have seen rising sea levels and if this continues we will see some islands threatened with extinction. instead of being concerned with this the americans will now contribute to this major threat. my point of all this? this shows their arrogance and obviously have no concern about the rest of the world. we should be thinking about the good of mankind, on a global scale. america is one of the major contributers to global warming and they will continue to do this. i hope they are the first to feel the effects of their arrogance. what goes around comes around!
Friday, July 27, 2001 11:36 p.m. "not me"
of late i have not been feeling myself. recently my mum came to visit, even though i was excited to see her, i didn't really show this. it was like i wanted her to live, but this was not the truth. Last weekend i had one of my best friends birthday, where once again i seemed a bit flat and gave the appearance that i did not want to be there. once again this was far from the truth. i then later managed to get kicked out of the local pub, plus a few other incidents.
i am starting to noticed that the way i am getting perceived, and the way i have been acting, are almost the opposite to that which i am feeling. the only thimg i can think of that has encouraged this behaviour is my surroundings. i have been on holidays from uni, and i have been stuck in this town. it is a town that i dont like and is definitely not a town that is productive for me. we dont have anything in common. i was slowly starting to go insane. uni is back, hopefully this will bring sanity.
Friday, July 20, 2001 09:07 p.m. "????"
i just don't get it. of late, due to absolute boredom, i have been watching the 'guiness book of records' tv show. while this show is entertaining, this i will admit, on most occasions i can't help but piss myself laughing at some of the pathetic people on this show. some of the records i have seen to date: i guy who has a problem controlling his anger breaks a record for breaking boards on his head, two college guys, one flicks an m&m with his ear while the other catches and eats them - they broke the record for this, and another guy who balanced a shit load of kegs on his head, just to name a few. what type of life form has the human being become, especially when most people say they train and that its the biggest moment of their life when they perform these pathetic 'feats'. please, what is going on? without using a cliche, is the type of feats of human strength and ability that we would like to show visitors to our planet? i dunno. none of this makes sense!

considering I had to work tonight, i'm in the mood for my first whinge on work. i currently work at a department store to help pay my way through uni and being on the other side of retail is an interesting experience. my job is to basically sell our product, and in my case its t.v's and stereos, etc. sometimes its a bit hard too grasp when someone comes in and you sell $2000 to $3000 worth of stock, knowing full well that this amount of money is a lot to them but because i'm used to selling and basically sweet talking people they walk away with a product, in somecases $1000 or more then what they were willing to pay because of me. the consumer - salesperson thing is a whole charade. you want to buy and they want your money. the only difference is whether you pay for what you intended on buying in the first place. i hate being fake. but hey, i get paid, right!
Saturday, June 16, 2001 09:57 p.m. "Well done Europe!"
On behalf of those people around the world that find the USA arrogant, I would like to say thankyou to the Spanish people and now the people of Sweden for sticking it to that Bush guy. I'm not a big fan of politics but during Bush's little trip to Europe, I'm constantly seeing protests following Bush wherever he goes and it excites me that people are now getting sick of the arrogance of this countries leaders and are taking a stand. Maybe now they will start to realise that they are not the centre of the world, that they are not role models for the rest of the world and that they will not single handedly save the world from a UFO or asteroid fucking attack! And on that note stop bombarding us with your pathetic, lame, shallow, patriotic, shitty movies. What the fuck is Bush doing throwing his weight around in Europe for anyway?
Tuesday, June 12, 2001 05:20 p.m. "Neglect"
For those who have been checking my page you will find a very small amount of change and additions and for this I apologise. I have not had alot of time over the past 2 months for my weblog but hopefully this will change.
A couple of notices first.
Check "True Human Design' as he has just finished revamping his site and it is awsome.
For those into novels, check out my cousins debut novel 'The Weight of the Sun' by Andrew Humphries published by Allen and Unwin. I'm a bit biased but it is a good, fresh novel with a nice hint of Black comedy.
